DeWeese Photographic Arts                       SX-70's

The emulsion in the old type of Polaroid film used in the SX-70 camera doesn't "set" for 24 hours.  During this time the film can be manipulated by hand with a blunt tool.  The result is a photograph that looks more like a painting.  Elizabeth Opalenik taught Deb how to do this over dinner one night at an Italian restaurant in Santa Fe.  Good teacher . . . good student . . . good wine . . . and extra garlic.
